GénIA is a Chrome Extension designed to assist users with AI-generated content on platforms like LinkedIn, Gmail, and Outlook. To provide this functionality, the extension temporarily accesses the content of the active web page (DOM) only when the user explicitly triggers an action (e.g., clicking "Summarize" or "Reply"). We also collect basic account information (email address and user ID) provided during registration through our authentication provider (Supabase).

2. How we use your information:

The text extracted from the active web page is strictly used as context to generate AI responses. This data is securely transmitted to our backend infrastructure (n8n) and processed using third-party AI providers (OpenAI). We do not use your data to train AI models.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is only shared with our trusted infrastructure partners (Supabase for authentication, OpenAI for language processing, and n8n for workflow automation) strictly for the purpose of providing the service.

4. Data Retention:

Page context data sent for AI processing is temporary and is not permanently stored on our servers. User account data and usage logs (credit consumption) are stored securely in Supabase to maintain service limits and billing.

5. User Rights:

You have the right to access, modify, or request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us.
